Stephen A. Smith's daughter had the internet buzzing over her on-air appearances during the NBA Finals.

Samantha, the ESPN host's 17-year-old daughter, first joined her father on-air last week during Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The teen confidently took over the mic with unfiltered commentary, humor, and clapbacks, showing viewers that the apple didn't fall too far from the tree.

“Hi guys, I’m Samantha. I’m so happy to be here. I’ve made so many friends. This is really a great experience,” she said as her dad stood beside her.

Samantha later returned to the show to share her winner pick for the NBA Finals, going against her dad's prediction and choosing the Oklahoma City Thunder to take the championship.

“I’m going OKC,” Samantha said ahead of Game 6. “I think they’re just going to end it tonight.”

The 17-year-old also joined the ESPN host for a special father-daughter episode of "The Stephen A. Smith Show," during which she discussed the NBA Finals going to Game 7 and other hot topics in pop culture. Throughout the show, Samantha gave her takes while making subtle jabs at her father, who couldn't seem to deliver his usual quips and comebacks against his daughter.

“I really need y’all to spam these comments with ‘Bring Samantha back, bring Samantha back, bring Samantha back, bring Samantha back,’ because I really will talk about anything you guys want me to talk about, I will slow him down I will quiet him down if that’s what you guys need. I’m willing to give the viewers whatever y’all want. I’m open-minded,” she said on the podcast.

Samantha quickly became a viral sensation for her NBA Finals takeover.

"Petition to fire Stephen A Smith and hire his daughter because she funnier than him 😂😂," one X user tweeted.

"Stephen A. Smith’s daughter, Samantha, is hilarious. ESPN, get her a show asap 😂," another person wrote.

"Can’t STAND Stephen A. Smith, but I am now Samantha’s fan🤣," a third user said.
