Have you visited the most "boring" tourist trap in all of Michigan?

Because "boring" can mean something different to every traveler, this destination is admired by some and detested by others.

Tourists often choose destinations based on elements they think will fascinate them, only to arrive and find a place very different from what they initially anticipated.

Be it distinctive history or sheer popularity, something about this well-known Michigan location drew people in, and they walked away with an experience far from what they imagined. Some are disappointed with their experience, and others are interested and cannot wait to tell their friends and family.

According to a list compiled by Cheapism, the most overrated tourist destination in Michigan is Mystery Spot in St. Ignace.

Here's what Cheapism had to say about the most "boring" tourist destination in the entire state:

"Said to have been discovered in the 1950s by surveyors who became lightheaded and couldn't get equipment to operate there, the Mystery Spot in St. Ignace (reopening in the spring) seems to mess with gravity, make tall people seem smaller, and cause plenty of other confusing phenomena. Or so they say. You might say it leans heavily on kitsch. It led one Yelper to remark, “The mystery is why did I pay for this?'"
