It's no secret that dogs have the ability to sense human emotions - after all, they're man's best friend! But are they also.....lions' best friends? A Tennessee man named Josh Myers recently posted a video of his dog Luna having an emotional reaction to arguably the saddest scene in cinematic history. While Josh and his girlfriend Hannah were watching Disney's The Lion King, he caught Luna crying while watching Mufasa's death scene (who else is still not over it?)! Josh posted the video to his Facebook page and it quickly went viral, garnering over 2 MILLION views! He wrote "So Hannah and I were watching the Lion King while Luna played wildly with her toys. But right as Mufasa falls to his death, she stops and turns to the TV to watch. To see her crying at the TV was the sweetest thing I think I’ve ever seen. She even lays down right after Simba lays with his dad....We don’t deserve dogs. 💚"
Josh returned to the post earlier today, telling the hundreds of commenters and new Luna stans "Luna says thank you for all the love and support!! She got tons of hugs and kisses after this scene and is much more emotionally stable now hahah. But all this sudden fame has her exhausted😊" with a video of Luna sleeping soundly (and adorably) attached.
